Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in Columbia, South Carolina. As a Data Analyst, you will play a significant role in our team, using your skills to analyze financial and operational data, spot trends, and provide insights that can drive decision-making. Your responsibilities will include managing data collection, conducting risk assessments, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately collect, clean, and organize extensive datasets from various banking systems and external sources

• Analyze credit, risk, and financial performance data to identify patterns and areas for improvement

• Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to share insights with the executive leadership

• Evaluate credit risk using predictive analytics and statistical models and support the refinement of credit risk policies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with the bank’s strategic goals and provide data-driven insights for enhancing customer relations and financial product offerings

• Ensure all analyses and reports comply with banking regulations and compliance standards

• Support both internal and external audit processes by providing necessary data and documentation

• Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics and technology to improve data analysis processes and propose solutions for enhancing operational and reporting efficiency.

Requirements • Proven experience with Data Mining Techniques

• Proficient in Data Visualization tools and techniques

• Demonstrated expertise in Informatica

• Familiarity with Maps API

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Experience with AB Testing methodologies

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on details

• Knowledge and experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools

• Ability to understand and document Business Requirement Documents

• Proven ability to create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting dashboards

• Proficient in Microsoft SQL, including writing complex queries

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI

• Proven experience in creating interactive dashboards using Power BI.
