Duties of the Housekeeper:
Maintains cleanliness and a sterile environment throughout the hospital or clinic. Cleans patient rooms, emergency rooms, waiting rooms, handrails, offices of administrative staff, and the restrooms. Dusts furniture as well as equipment. Responds to emergencies in relation to cleaning hospital environment. Clean and wipe windows, floors, etc. Uses various types of cleaning equipment, like vacuum cleaners, washing machines, etc.
