Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Columbus, Ohio
Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk with experience in the field to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing customer credit applications, maintaining comprehensive customer credit records, and providing solutions to customer inquiries. Furthermore, you will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate
• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary
• Utilize QuickBooks for maintaining and tracking records
• Perform Account Reconciliation tasks as required
• Manage Billing and Cash Applications effectively
• Handle Cash Collections and Commercial Collections as needed
• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues
• Knowledge of Billing procedures and ability to generate invoices and account statements efficiently
• Expertise in Cash Applications, with the ability to process and record transactions accurately
• Experience in Cash Collections, ensuring timely collection of payments from clients
• Proficiency in Commercial Collections, with the ability to manage and oversee the collection of outstanding balances
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform financial analysis and prepare reports
• Experience with QuickBooks, with the ability to manage financial data and transactions efficiently
