Robert Half Treasury/Accounting Reporting Manager in Commerce, Georgia
Description We are on the lookout for a Treasury/Accounting Reporting Manager in the Mortgage Companies industry, based in Commerce, Georgia. This role revolves around managing financial reporting, treasury services, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the completion of month-end closing responsibilities, including various accounting entries and account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the CFO on Asset/Liability function and investment portfolio accounting.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly and periodic reports, including Board reporting packages and Treasury Services reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations in the preparation of financial statements and other required reporting.
• Identify reporting needs, work on operational issues, and develop solutions to enhance internal controls in line with policies.
• Streamline processes and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct technical accounting research as needed.
• Support the preparation for audits and reviews by external auditors.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to accounting team members.
• Assist the CFO with special projects and other assigned duties. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the mortgage industry.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
• Familiarity with BlackLine and EPS is required.
• Must have hands-on experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is essential.
• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP).
• Auditing skills are a must.
• Knowledge in Balance Sheet Account management is crucial.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is required.
