Jennmar Services Underground Coal Miners in Craig, Colorado
POSITION: Experienced and Inexperienced Underground Coal Miners
DUTIES: * Help transport materials and equipment in the mine. * Assist with basic maintenance of mining tools and machinery. * Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working. * Operate simple machinery as directed by experienced miners. * Help in loading and unloading coal and other materials. * Support in clearing rocks and debris to maintain work areas. * Participate in training sessions and learn mining techniques. * Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals. * Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 18 years of age. * Ability to work well in a team environment. * Valid Driver's License and have reliable transportation * Ability / willingness to work any shift assigned (days, swings and grave) * Must be able to pass a drug screen, and background check. * Ability to routinely lift 80 pounds long distance * Ability to kneel, bend and stoop down for prolonged periods of time.
PREFERRED SKILLS: * MSHA Certification * High school or equivalent
WAGE: $28.00 - $37.50 per hour

SHIFTS: Full-time - 40 hours per week * Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts, both days or nights
