Description
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a Paralegal, you will be handling insurance defense litigation cases, managing multiple cases from intake through trial. This role involves working in a fast-paced, creative and fun environment.
Responsibilities:
• Managing your caseload with multiple attorneys and team members and reviewing medical records and other evidence
• Communicating with clients, claims adjusters, opposing counsel, courts, and experts
• E-filing through eFile Texas and PACER
• Scheduling depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Utilizing case management software to maintain calendars and docket
• Working with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Team, and WebEx
• Demonstrating proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Gaining experience with LexisNexis, Coyote Analytics or similar billing and calendaring software.

Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Paralegal role within an Insurance Defense Litigation practice
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Case Management Software.
• Ability to manage calendars effectively.
• Paralegal certificate and/or college experience preferred
• Able to work with a team in a collaborative environment or independently
• Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Team, and WebEx
• Should be able to draft pleadings, discovery responses, and prepare document production
• Experience with LexisNexis, Coyote Analytics or similar billing and calendaring software a plus
• Knowledge of Internet Explorer and Google Chrome web browsers
