Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CUB Utilities Technician to join our team. This full-time, direct placement position will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of industrial HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, osmosis systems, large compressors, and other mechanical and electrical systems. As a key part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining the CUB building, which supplies essential power to plant lines, ensuring they are kept up and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Conduct hourly checks on all equipment within the CUB building to ensure everything is functioning properly and safely.
Maintain and troubleshoot industrial HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, osmosis systems, and large compressors.
Perform mechanical repairs and some electrical work as required.
Work independently to identify and resolve equipment issues, employing a root cause mindset to ensure long-term solutions.
Ensure the equipment operates safely and efficiently in a high-heat environment, with fluids in the machines reaching up to 500 degrees.
Prioritize safety at all times, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Perform physical labor as necessary, working in a dirty and hot environment.
Rotate shifts every 2 weeks between day and night shifts (12-hour shifts on a 223 schedule).
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of industrial HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, osmosis systems, and compressors.
Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues as needed.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong focus on safety, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Comfortable working in a hot, physically demanding, and dirty environment.
Must have steel-toed boots.
Must be able to work rotating shifts (12-hour shifts on a 223 schedule).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience working in industrial maintenance or related fields preferred.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
