Target Pay: starting at $75,000 based on experience This role will require travel within the assigned district (60% of the time) In office position Primary Responsibilities: Lead and manage the material management program, including procurement and inventory control. Negotiate supplier contracts, build relationships, and ensure competitive pricing. Oversee inventory, including cycle counts, audits, and procurement lifecycle analysis. Manage warehouse operations to optimize stock levels, efficiency, and process improvements. Evaluate vendor performance on product quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Provide leadership, coaching, and development for staff to ensure high performance and growth. Manage staffing, scheduling, and employee relations to maintain a positive, productive work environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and handle employee concerns promptly. Work additional hours and perform other duties as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience in material management or procurement Experience negotiating supplier contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effectiveness in procurement. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, hire, and train staff Ability to manage challenges effectively and resolve conflicts diplomatically, maintaining a positive work environment Ability to work under varying conditions, manage stress, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining efficiency.
