Actalent Pharmacist - Critical Need in Downey, California
We are hiring for a Kaiser (SoCal Remote) Pharmacist ASAP!Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Pharmacist to join our team on a fully remote basis. Candidates must be located in Southern California and will need to drive to Downey, CA to receive and return issued equipment. This is a 20-week temporary role that requires a pharmacist with strong experience in drug evidence analysis and pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
Conduct drug evidence analysis.
Develop materials such as drug monographs and drug FAQs.
Respond to drug inquiries from healthcare professionals.
Serve in a non-patient facing, consultative role for healthcare professionals.
Demonstrate project management skills.
Essential Skills
Licensed Pharmacist in California (RPh or PharmD).
3 years of pharmacy operations experience.
1 year of drug evidence analysis experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred pharmacy work experience in infectious diseases and/or drug information-formulary management.
Professionalism.
Detail-oriented.
Open to pharmacy residents who have completed at least one year of residency.
Work Environment
This position is fully remote, with the requirement to drive to Downey for equipment pickup and return. The role follows an 8-5 Monday to Friday shift. The interview process includes a virtual interview with a panel of 2-3 interviewers and a writing assignment. The assignment involves reviewing clinical trial evidence for rifamycin (Aemcolo) to assess safety and efficacy and developing a formulary recommendation for the drug.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
