About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition & Development to join our Human Resources team in Dubai. The job purpose of the Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition & Development is to support the global talent acquisition strategy and processes at Jumeirah, sourcing for senior roles and providing guidance to the HR community. This role is also responsible for supporting talent development initiatives such as performance reviews and goal setting to ensure Jumeirah drives talent initiatives to support career growth of our colleagues.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

  • Coordinate interview schedules, travel arrangements, and communication with candidates.

  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and networking, to identify and attract qualified candidates.

  • Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future openings.

  • Screen resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications.

  • Conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Assist in the onboarding process by coordinating with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the employer brand through social media, recruitment events, and other branding initiatives.

  • Manage relationships with key hotel schools for hiring graduates and interns.

  • Support the wider HR community across Jumeirah in order to guide them on talent acquisition strategy and processes as well as extend support where required.

  • Generate reports and metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.

  • Be the system expert for talent development initiatives including performance reviews, talent reviews, goal setting and individual development plans.

  • Support in the roll out and monitoring of talent development initiatives to the HR community in Jumeirah.

  • Produce regular reporting on talent development initiatives to drive completion by the deadline.

  • Contribute to other key actions within the wider talent, learning and culture department.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • 5 years+ of Human Resources experience, preferably with an international hospitality company or a recognized blue-chip organization.

  • Experience of working in an in-house Talent acquisition role would be highly beneficial.

  • Knowledge of key HR frameworks including talent management and talent acquisition.

  • An understanding of core hotelier operations and of the luxury hospitality industry would be beneficial.

  • Good decision making, facilitation and resolution skills.

  • Outstanding inter-personal, communication, and presentation skills and an ability to connect with people at all levels to drive successful relationships.
