Job Description:

Responsible for the reprocessing of reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for use in surgery and throughout various nursing units. Plays a vital role in ensuring clean, safe, sterile instruments and equipment are available to hospital staff for use in patient care.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

East/West Markets :

New hires after April 1, 2015: Must be certified as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) within 2 years of hire.

Job Location: Building B - St Marys Medical Center

Shift Start/End: Variable/Variable

Hours Per Pay Period: 80

Compensation Range: $17.54 - $23.04 / hour

Union: SMMC Main Service Workers Local 70 (SMSVW)

FTE: 1

Weekends: Rotation
