Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.
Unit Position Summary
Prepares specimens within the anatomy laboratory spaces including dissection, preservation and maintenance of cadavers, tissue specimens and bone catalogs; set up of specimens for laboratory sessions to meet needs of faculty for specific teaching purposes followed by clean up. Performs daily laboratory operational duties which include inventory, cleaning, creating, and maintaining necessary records, facilitating laundry and equipment maintenance and care to facilitate laboratory functions. Provides instruction or demonstration to students. Researches and develops new methodologies and procedures to improve laboratory functions.
