DANISCO USA INC Manager, Regional Product Line - Emulsifiers Non-Food in East Windsor, New Jersey

Job Summary We are seeking a Manager, Regional Product Line for our non-food emulsifiers business in North America. Reporting to the Director, Global Product Line - Emulsifiers with a dotted line to Senior Manager, Global Product Line - Emulsifiers Non-Food, this role will work closely with regional sales and marketing to develop new business opportunities in the polymer additive, pet food, animal nutrition, and other non-food markets. This role is responsible for the execution of the Emulsifiers non-food strategy in North America to maximize growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities Drive regional execution of a key new growth platform in the Emulsifiers Business Unit with hands-on regional customer execution with Sales and Applications Develop new, regional business opportunities in non-food industries to accelerate growth and secure a strong pipeline of customer projects (medium & long-term) by: Working with the Global Product Line manager and Global Sales manager for non-food to identify potential customers and opportunities within specific non-food industries Translate the global strategy into regional strategic initiatives and actions Further develop the product value propositions relevant to the North American market and provide input into R&D initiatives for new product development or applications Execute product launches in the region Provide some technical support to the sales discussions with customers Accountable for the financial outcomes of the non-food emulsifier business in North America (revenue and margin) along with targets for volume growth. Gather, analyze, and communicate market/competitive intelligence, highlighting and quantifying key opportunities and risks. Provide support to the Global Product Line manager - non food for financial forecasting and strategy input Qualifications & Skills Engineering, technical or science degree combined with experience in sales account management Solid technical understanding of the polymer or polymer additive market combined with strong business acumen & strategic mindset Minimum 5 years' experience within technical applications, innovation, sales, business development or product management Excellent communication & influencing skills Personal attributes: Team player who collaborates well across functions Takes ownership of individual and team goals and strategic initiatives Willingness to learn from others and open to ideas Self-motivated, high-energy individual who is comfortable with a level of ambiguity Curious, solutions oriented, passionate about the polymer industry Travel Required: 40 - 50% We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
