Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead our team in the installation and repair of exterior facade systems. This role involves supervising and motivating team members, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are met.
Responsibilities
Lead the team and coordinate the proper installation and repair of exterior facade systems.
Collaborate in the development of project plans with the Project Manager and Field Superintendent.
Supervise, motivate, and train team members, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
Plan, monitor, and evaluate team performance, providing guidance on application techniques, productivity, and proper use of tools and equipment.
Maintain communication with the client’s representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Manage and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades as required.
Stay up-to-date on manufacturer specifications and implement them across all relevant projects.
Essential Skills
2+ years of hands-on experience as a Construction Supervisor, overseeing job sites and crew activities.
Proven expertise in sheet metal, wall panel installation, or carpentry work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (blueprints) for precise execution of projects.
Candidates must provide their own hand tools necessary for completing tasks efficiently.
Willingness to travel to job sites.
Personal transportation is required to commute to and from various job sites.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 10 certification.
Experience in finish carpentry, framing, and rough carpentry.

Work Environment
Our projects span various job sites across Elmira, Syracuse, Rochester, Albany, and Northern PA. The typical work schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime. Some projects may require overnight stays, for which travel expenses will be covered by the company. Most nights and weekends will be spent at home.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmira, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
