POSITION SUMMARY: As a Branch Manager, you are responsible for driving new business Nicolet and your branch. Coach and drive daily sales process, lead team in achieving planned performance goals, acquiring new consumer and business customers; initiate referrals to partners, deepen all existing customer relationships, and are proactive in developing business inside and outside of the branch. You lead all facets of sales, service and operations of the branch.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Fosters a culture aligned to Nicolet's purpose, core values and strategy and role models Nicolet values and behaviors in all that they do. • Develops and executes a branch business plan to maximize business growth, wallet share and achieve customer retention and acquisition objectives. • Contributes to the achievement of business objectives by conducting sales calls, establishing a personal referral network and other business development activities. • Maintains active involvement in the community and develops key business and community relationships. • Improves team performance, recognizes and rewards performance, coaches' employees, supports their development and manages poor performance. • Deepens consumer and business customer relationships by providing a memorable customer experience. • Coaches and delivers needs-based sales process to proactively identify the financial needs of current or prospective customers and recommends appropriate solutions to meet those needs. • Cultivates key internal partnerships to drive business in trade area. • Manages overall operations of the branch, adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory related policies and procedures. • Maintains knowledge and educates teams on all products, services, technology and policies. • Actively leads the recruitment/hiring/onboarding process ensuring team is staffed with colleagues suitable for Nicolet's culture. • Develops and maintains a network in the community to enhance Nicolet's visibility and builds strong referral sources for new business. • Supports Nicolet's community involvement and participates in community activities. • Creates a culture that attracts, retains and grows a team that values diversity, inclusion, and engagement. • Ensures proper operations/risk discipline, controls and culture are in place to identify, escalate and debate issues. • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet. • Understand and communicate the value of diversity within the workplace and to work successfully with others without regard to age, gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, culture, religion, disability status, socioeconomic status or other non-job-related classification, including a commitment to Nicolet's policies on equal employment opportunities and non-discrimination with a willingness to pursue efforts of inclusion and respect toward different perspectives. • Performs all other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES: Directly supervise the Tellers, Personal Bankers, Universal Bankers and Assistant Branch Managers in accordance with Nicolet's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching, mentoring and development planning; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
