Robert Half Staff Accountant in Fairfield, New Jersey
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Fairfield, New Jersey. As a Staff Accountant, you will be part of a team in the industry, where you will handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, manage the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and assist with month end close. You will also be asked to work with various financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
Responsibilities
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks accurately
• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Maintaining and managing the general ledger as per industry standards
• Preparing and recording journal entries as part of the finance team
• Assisting with the month end close process diligently
• Utilizing financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Must possess strong expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations is required
• Solid understanding of General Ledger management is necessary
• Experience in recording and maintaining journal entries is a must
• Must have hands-on experience with Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with NetSuite is an essential requirement
• Proficiency in Oracle is a significant advantage
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desirable
• Experience in using SAP is an added benefit
