Job Title: Interior DesignerJob Description

The Interior Designer will play a crucial role in a collaborative office environment, contributing to all phases of Corporate Interiors Projects. This includes tasks such as programming, schematic design, and the production of construction documents using Revit Architecture. The designer will also work closely with owners and contractors throughout the Construction Administration phase.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in all project phases, from initial programming to final construction.

  • Develop schematic designs that align with client needs and project goals.

  • Produce detailed construction documents using Revit Architecture.

  • Interface regularly with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

  • Develop and present presentation materials to clients.

  • Attend client presentations to discuss design concepts and project progress.

  • Assist with business development by fostering strong client relationships.

  • Collaborate with owners and contractors during the construction phase.

  • Ensure that design specifications are met and address any issues that arise.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit Architecture.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Keen interest in client interaction and business development.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an Interior Designer working on Corporate Interiors/ Commercial- office, hospitality, or retail Interiors projects.

  • Proficient in Revit Architecture with 2+ years of professional experience using Revit to produce Construction Documents.

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

  • Ability to interact with clients.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The work environment is a collaborative and dynamic office setting. There are opportunities for professional growth and development, with the team often engaging in internal coordination meetings, design and production tasks in-office, and construction administration and client interface. The firm has a close-knit team with outings and volunteer opportunities throughout the community. The office operates an 'open studio' model with a lot of collaboration and sharing of personnel and resources, fostering a family-oriented and energetic atmosphere. The team is divided into three specialized studios, allowing members to run their projects independently. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $48.07/hr.
