Job Description
Candidates will be operating a Bystronic Laser where they will learn the ins and outs of loading/unloading it, setting it up, and performing light maintenance on the machine. This is a brand new laser with a multi-pallet changing system installed. It is crucial to keep this machine running all day, so working quickly when loading/unloading and preparing materials as it runs is very important. Candidates will also shake out the pieces that are cut and load them onto a dolly to be bent in the fabrication department.
Responsibilities
Operate Bystronic Laser, including loading and unloading materials.
Set up and perform light maintenance on the machine.
Ensure the machine runs continuously throughout the day.
Quickly prepare materials while the machine is running.
Shake out cut pieces and load them onto a dolly for the fabrication department.
Essential Skills
Experience in sheet metal fabrication.
CNC Laser operation.
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience with brake press and grinding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must experience in sheet metal/fabrication.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
