Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager, you will lead the setup and management of a new warehouse facility, ensuring all operational, safety, and regulatory requirements are met. You will be responsible for inventory management, team leadership, and health & safety compliance, driving efficiency and accuracy in all warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup of the new warehouse facility, ensuring all equipment, inventory systems, storage areas, and safety protocols are in place before launch.

  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure the warehouse layout optimizes space and workflow efficiency.

  • Oversee the installation of warehouse equipment and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency as needed.

  • Ensure the warehouse facility meets all regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and internal policies.

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate tracking of goods, minimizing stock discrepancies.

  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and product availability, ensuring timely reordering and stock rotation.

  • Work with the purchasing and sales teams to coordinate order fulfillment and maintain proper stock levels to meet customer demand.

  • Oversee and contribute to product assembly requirements prior to shipping as needed.

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure high levels of performance, accuracy, and safety.

  • Create and implement staff schedules, track performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.

  • Promote a positive, efficient work environment, fostering collaboration, accountability, and employee engagement.

  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and provide safety training to ensure the warehouse environment is secure for all staff.

  • Ensure all warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is properly maintained and operated by trained personnel.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing team performance and warehouse operations.

  • Proven experience with warehouse management systems and technology-driven operations.

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment processes.

  • Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment and systems (e.g., forklifts, RFID, barcode scanners).

  • Experience in setting up and launching new warehouse/production operations.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
