Qualifications you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in related field with a health-related, communications or marketing focus desirable
Actively enrolled in a full time Master’s degree with an emphasis on business and healthcare, on track to graduate Spring 2026
Relevant work experience in healthcare, especially clinical setting experience
Academic Standing: must be in good academic standing
GPA Requirement: Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Ability to travel occasionally throughout a designated MVP service area. Travel requirements 0-15% -- both within designated MVP service market and between markets at MVP offices is possible.

Issue Resolution: Strong ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems related to provider performance, claims, contract disputes, and operational inefficiencies.
Innovative Solutions: Think creatively about solutions to challenges faced by healthcare providers, such as administrative burdens, reimbursement issues, and care coordination.
Strong Communication: Ability to articulate the needs and concerns of both providers and the organization.
Excellent communication, persuasion and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with healthcare providers and practice employees.
Ability to anticipate needs, manage multiple priorities with competing timelines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Understanding of healthcare industry and provider motivations.
Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth

Your key responsibilities:
Learn about MVP’s business, customers, and key provider partnerships.
Participate in internal meetings to review performance and prioritize provider related initiatives.
Conduct analysis of provider performance data, e.g., track the performance of network providers to establish if they meet MVP’s quality standards, and financial goals.
Support select provider initiatives, helping MVP broadly and the PPL team specifically to translate our business needs into clear and actionable information that aligns with providers’ goals (to deliver high value care).
Provider initiatives may require business process documentation, enhancement, and/or education and training materials.
Initiatives may include:
Quality
Accurate coding
Provider performance reporting
Provider issue resolution, i.e
Billing
Credentialing
Others
Present provider initiatives to internal audiences, including MVP executives
As aligned with business needs, participate in external provider meetings
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of provider partnership strategies with business objectives.
Gain exposure to multiple internal teams within the company to understand how work gets done at MVP.
Learn about the broader Healthcare landscape, at the national, state, and local level.
Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer.

The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles.
