United Infrastructure Gro Dump Truck Driver in Fletcher, North Carolina

We are currently looking for a Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The Dump Truck Driver will drive a dump truck with a capacity of at least three tons to transport goods or materials.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operates heavy duty truck to move and/or transport materials as required by jobsite

  • Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials

  • May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment

  • May perform other related duties as required

    Qualifications

  • 3-5 Years Truck Driving Experience Preferred

  • Requires a commercial driver's license (CDL)

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions

  • Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn

  • Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

    Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Respond quickly to foreman’s directions.

  • Must observe safety procedures and report any potentially unsafe conditions to management.

  • Knowledge of Truck Operation and other road construction equipment.

  • Knowledge of road construction materials and road construction processes.

  • Must follow policies and procedures and support UIG’s Mission.

  • Experience in construction preferred.

    REQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:

  • 18 years of Age

  • Class A or B CDL License with an air and tanker endorsement.

  • Able to pass a Drug Test

  • Legally Eligible to Work in the US

  • Additional Requirements for Truck Operators/Craft Workers:

  • Must have own transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required).

  • Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools), if applicable.

  • May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities).

  • Must be able to physically and repetitively lift and carry at least 50 pounds on a routine basis.
