Position Facility Maintenance Supervisor Reports To Center Director

Department Facilities Maintenance FLSA STATUS Exempt

 

Primary Position Objectives

Monitor and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring facility is well maintained. Follows policies and procedures in accordance with DOL, PRH, Center and Serrato Corporation requirements.

 

Position Responsibilities

Administration

Procedures • Develops preventive maintenance schedules for Center equipment, buildings and grounds.

  • Monitors maintenance and emergency repairs.

``` - Inspects facilities and initiates corrective action to eliminate deficiencies.

``` - Provides technical support to other maintenance personnel.

```{=html}

``` - Maintains a complete set of blueprints of the Center.

```{=html}

``` - Complies with technical operating manuals for equipment and machines.

```{=html}

``` - Prioritizes daily work orders according to need and assign staff to complete.

```{=html}

``` - Maintains log of work orders and maintain file of completed work orders (computerized, prioritized) and sends out a weekly status report to all Center departments.

``` - Performs daily inspection of buildings to identify safety needs.

```{=html}

``` - Monitors assigned activities to ensure that high quality work is performed.

``` - Ensures acceptable student behavior is demonstrated.

``` - Continual support and adherence to the CDSS plan and Code of Conduct which ensures that the ePCDP is used in a timely, continual, and effective manner to help support students

``` - Complies with all DOL guidelines, OFCCP regulation, Job Corps notices and bulletins, and Center policies and procedures.

``` - Maintains good housekeeping in all areas and complies with safety practices.

``` - Follows CDSS plan and Code of Conduct system daily.

``` - Models, mentors, monitors appropriate Career Success Standards.

``` - Participation in PRH mandated staff training is mandatory. Failure to participate may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

``` - Attends weekly facility meeting to discuss facility issues and concerns.

``` - Prepares maintenance budget and maintains cost control.

```{=html}

``` - Works with CTST coordinator to use students to assist with specific center projects that develop vocational skills in students.
