Genesee Health System Manager - GHS Fitness Center in Flint, Michigan
Genesee Health System is the Genesee County public provider of behavioral and primary care safety net services. Due to new facilities and expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic fitness professional/manager to develop programming and manage our gym/fitness area.
Duties will include:
Development of policies and procedures to operate fitness center
Developing schedules for groups
Monitoring all activities in Fitness Center
Providing instruction on safe and proper use of equipment and facilities
REQUIREMENTS:
*- *Bachelor's degree in business, exercise science, sports management or other appropriate discipline
5 years' experience working in, or managing a similar facility or program
Experience/certification as a personal trainer highly desirable
Outgoing personality and ability to work with diverse groups and individuals
Knowledge of proper techniques and safety concerns regarding exercise and athletic training
