We are searching for a territory manager for the Virginia, Maryland, and Northeastern North Carolina territory. This person will be responsible for the sales growth of three of our divisions; Lord and Company, MacGuire and Crawford, and R.A. Moore.
Lord and Company has been a successful system integrator since 1982. They are a leader in the municipal market and continue to grow rapidly.
R.A. Moore has been a successful system integrator since 1980. They are a leader in the industrial automation market and continue to grow rapidly.
MacGuire and Crawford has been a successful provider of control instrumentation since 1955. They are a leader in the industrial market and continue to grow rapidly.
Job Summary:
TheTerritory Manager/Virginia, Maryland, and Northeastern North Carolinaposition is an integral role in a highly visible territory. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visit customer sites to assess customer needs and potential, develop and maintain strong relationships, and generate and close sales.
- Hold yourself accountable for high performance.
- Prospect and developnew accounts as well as grow relationships with existing customers.
- Become a part of your customer's business.
- Interact with inside sales staff being someone they want to support.
- Continually look for new ways to grow and generate revenue.
- Know your marketplace and communicate with your manager.
- Always be professional and ethical in dealing with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Continual training on our products so you will become a valued technical resource to your customers.
Our ideal candidate will also possess
:
- Municipal market sales experience.
- Outside industrial sales experience.
- Engineering or business degree.
- Posses a positive, confident attitude.
- Motivation to succeed.
- Industrial distribution experience.
- Track record of growing sales.
- In depth knowledge of basic instrumentations (i.e., Flow; Level; Temperature and Pressure, etc.).
