We are searching for a territory manager for the Virginia, Maryland, and Northeastern North Carolina territory. This person will be responsible for the sales growth of three of our divisions; Lord and Company, MacGuire and Crawford, and R.A. Moore.

Lord and Company has been a successful system integrator since 1982. They are a leader in the municipal market and continue to grow rapidly.

R.A. Moore has been a successful system integrator since 1980. They are a leader in the industrial automation market and continue to grow rapidly.

MacGuire and Crawford has been a successful provider of control instrumentation since 1955. They are a leader in the industrial market and continue to grow rapidly.

Job Summary:

TheTerritory Manager/Virginia, Maryland, and Northeastern North Carolinaposition is an integral role in a highly visible territory. This is an exceptional opportunity for a confident individual to take control of their future as they become part of our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit customer sites to assess customer needs and potential, develop and maintain strong relationships, and generate and close sales.
  • Hold yourself accountable for high performance.
  • Prospect and developnew accounts as well as grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Become a part of your customer's business.
  • Interact with inside sales staff being someone they want to support.
  • Continually look for new ways to grow and generate revenue.
  • Know your marketplace and communicate with your manager.
  • Always be professional and ethical in dealing with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Continual training on our products so you will become a valued technical resource to your customers.

Our ideal candidate will also possess

:

  • Municipal market sales experience.
  • Outside industrial sales experience.
  • Engineering or business degree.
  • Posses a positive, confident attitude.
  • Motivation to succeed.
  • Industrial distribution experience.
  • Track record of growing sales.
  • In depth knowledge of basic instrumentations (i.e., Flow; Level; Temperature and Pressure, etc.).
