Press Brake Operator
Currently hiring a Press-Brake Operator in the Frankfort, IL area. Hiring immediately.
Shift: 1st shift. Monday - Friday.
Job Description:
Read blueprints from designers and engineers to determine product measurements.
Operate the press brake to cut and bend materials into specified shapes.
Measure and inspect final products to ensure they are the correct size and shape.
Program the machine to fit the design requirements.
Restock materials as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machine.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience operating a Brake Press Machine in steel manufacturing or sheet metal work.
Proficiency in reading blueprints.
Ability to set up, program, and measure final products.
Experience with CNC, fabrication, calipers, micrometers, and CNC press brake.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Degree or certificate from a vocational school (preferred).
Strong analytical skills.
Attention to detail.
Experience working with industrial machines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
