Cella Inc Video Production Coordinator in Franklin, Tennessee
Location: Franklin, TennesseeJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $33 - 36 per hourWe are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our clients team! This is a 4 month contract role with potential for extension. Onsite in Franklin TN- 5 days a week4 month contract potential to extend.Equipment will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Logistics: Assist producers in developing detailed production plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure that all production elements are accounted for in pre-production.
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage calendars, book talent and crew, coordinate locations, and secure necessary permits. Maintain up-to-date scheduling to prevent conflicts.
Production Execution: Support the on-site execution of productions, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently. Troubleshoot and problem-solve as needed.
Resource & Vendor Management: Work with vendors, freelancers, and third-party partners to secure necessary equipment, props, and services. Manage contracts and invoices.
Communication & Documentation: Maintain clear communication between producers, directors, and crew. Keep detailed production notes and ensure all necessary documentation is organized and accessible.
The team:
There are currently a few production coordinators on the network side, and potentially some on the corporate business unit side as well.
The new coordinator will work directly under the direction of Colin Smith, the director.
The role involves collaborating across different business units that produce videos.
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for a hybrid background in both broadcasting and corporate environments.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to juggle various responsibilities.
Familiarity with equipment like Blackmagic cameras and software like Outlook and JIRA.
Ability to work primarily on-site in Franklin, TN, with occasional local shoots.
Initial 4-month contract with potential for extension.
