BMT Aerospace OD Grinder -2nd shift 5:30PM to 6:00AM in Fraser, Michigan
- Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketchers and products/ engineering specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC OD and ID grind equipment with minimal supervision on a Studer Grinder machine
- Make adjustments as required to maintain print specifications
- Grind of spline shafts and aircraft gears holding tolerance of .0001- 0005"
- Maintain proper documentation of SPC data and participate in certified operator program.
- Inspect faces and diameters using inspection equipment
- Perform in process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and varius gauges
- Perform operator mainteanance
Reguirements
- Mechanical aptitude a plus
- Working knowledge of Inspection devices and instruments
- Ability to translate prints along wiht understanding of GD&T
- Blueprint reading skills
- Shop math skills
- High School Diploma
