Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract to permanent employment opportunity in Fresno, California. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be part of a dynamic environment where your key responsibilities will involve handling accounts payable, account reconciliation, invoice processing, and data entry tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain and manage precise customer credit records.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.
• Ensure accurate accounts payable and account reconciliation.
• Conduct check runs and invoice coding as part of daily operations.
• Perform data entry tasks related to customer accounts.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various accounting activities.
• Process daily bank deposits and maintain open invoice records. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Demonstrated ability in Check Runs and Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Proven experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• Experience with QuickBooks software is required
• Ability to handle Daily Bank Deposits
• Experience with Open Invoice is preferred
