Your Opportunity:Taylor is seeking a Scheduler who is responsible for the comprehensive management and optimization of project schedules across multiple initiatives. This position requires advanced scheduling expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and resource efficiency. Your Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules that align with organizational goals and timelines, incorporating best practices and methodologies Analyze and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization and addressing conflicts or shortages proactively Work closely with project managers, department heads, and stakeholders to gather scheduling requirements, coordinate activities, and resolve scheduling conflicts Monitor project progress against schedules, providing regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders on key milestones, timelines, and resource utilization Identify potential risks related to scheduling, assess their impact, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines Lead initiatives to enhance scheduling processes and tools, promoting efficiencies and improvements across the organization Provide guidance and mentorship to junior schedulers and project team members, fostering professional development and enhancing team capabilities Ensure that scheduling practices comply with organizational policies and industry standards, continuously staying updated on best practices in project scheduling Must develop a complete understanding of equipment capabilities through collaboration with production leadership and SME's Acts as the subject matter expert for scheduling software, continuously optimizing the capabilities of the automated process through collaboration with IT resources and OEM You Must Have: May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 5 plus years of experience in the field or in a related area Expertise in scheduling software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Primarily an office environment with opportunities for collaboration across various departments Willingness to work in production departments on occasion to develop understanding of equipment, personnel, and processes The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
