ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The selected candidate will serve as an active clinician, providing comprehensive care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating various oncologic conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, and ensuring high-quality patient-centered care.
In addition to clinical duties, the candidate will play a key role in medical education, actively engaging in the teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. The successful candidate will contribute to academic activities, including participation in clinical trials and research initiatives, with opportunities to publish findings and present at professional conferences.
The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to advancing the field of oncology, and a dedication to improving patient outcomes through innovative treatments and evidence-based practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must hold an MD degree or its equivalent and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology. Additionally, the candidate must have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and an Oncology fellowship program. A strong clinical background and demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research are required.
