As a Mechanical Pipefitter for our Civil District on the Gilbert North Water Treatment Plant, you will contribute to our team by:
Read and understand construction drawings and specifications
Able to create a safe working environment, and understands OSHA regulations
Have experience installing mechanical equipment including pumps, diffusers, and belt filter presses
Have experience in the installation of above ground piping, flange by flange pipe
Install and solder copper pipe
Lay out and install PVC/CPVC pipe

What you will bring to the role:
2+ Years experience
Safety Certifications, including OSHA, are advantageous.
Full dexterity in arms, hands, and fingers, with frequent activities such as reaching, handling, and grasping.
Must be comfortable working in various conditions, including extreme temperatures, confined spaces, elevated areas, and excavated sites.
