Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Glendale, California
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist at our Glendale, California location. Our team operates within the Hospitality industry and is in need of an individual who can effectively manage accounting operations and financial transactions related to accounts receivables.
Responsibilities:
• Implement strategies for recovery of unpaid amounts and accounts that have become delinquent
• Proficiently track invoices to ensure payments are collected in a timely manner
• Assist in the general operations of finance and accounting as required
• Oversee the processing of payments and manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including billing and collections
• Collaborate with both internal and external entities to resolve issues related to billing and discrepancies in payment
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and bookkeeping, specifically in accounts payable/receivable
• Utilize Excel for various accounting functions and ensure proficiency in other financial management tools. Requirements
•Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience
• Demonstrated ability in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring prompt and accurate payments.
• Proven skills in conducting comprehensive auditing, maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
• Capability to perform billing functions, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collections.
• Knowledge and experience in 3 Way Matching, validating invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports.
• Expertise in using Excel Formulas for financial calculations and data analysis in a hospitality setting.
