Arrow Financial Corporation is seeking motivated and ambitious college students for our first Summer 2025 Internship Program at our headquarters in Glens Falls, New York. The pay rate per hour is $18.00. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and explore career opportunities in banking and financial services.
About the Program:
Our 10-week, full-time (40 hours per week), paid internship program runs through middle of May to middle of August and provides exposure to key areas of our business. We are looking for a Human Resources Intern.
Interns will participate in hands-on projects, networking events, community service, and mentorship opportunities while gaining a deeper understanding of the banking industry.

Internship Summary:
This internship will provide exposure to key Human Resources functions such as recruitment, payroll, learning and development, and employee relations. As a Human Resources intern, you will work with experienced professionals to support and execute a variety of Human Resources initiatives that help cultivate a positive employee experience and ensure compliance with industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain practical knowledge, and contribute to the company’s success.
What We Are Looking For:
College students who are eager to learn and take initiative in a professional setting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher pursuing a degree in Human Resources , Business, Accounting, Finance, Communications, or a related field
️ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
️ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating with customers, team members, and management
️ Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills
️ High degree of initiative and confidence
️ Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Essential Job Functions:
️ Aid in the processing of payroll transactions through several payroll cycles ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
️ Engage in full cycle recruitment including: Posting a position, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, prescreening, scheduling interviews and more.
️ Participate in learning and development activities and assist Learning and Development Partner with program coordination.
️ Review our learning management system and assist in updating and assigning content for employees.
️ Assist Benefits/Leave Administrators in the review and administration of leave and benefits.
️ Assist Employee Engagement Partner with orientation and employee experience programs and initiatives.
️ Attend meetings to address management and employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts.
️ Support in the documentation and procedural aspects of employee separations, ensuring adherence to legal and organizational guidelines.
️ Attend and participate in team meetings to understand planning and decision-making processes, gain insights into team dynamics and exposure to various HR functions and organizational processes.
️ Attend a continuing education event, branch visit and/or participate in a community service opportunity to promote corporate social responsibility, employee engagement and gain an understanding of HR functions across different settings.
️ Collaborate with interns from other departments within the company to share knowledge and attend developmental opportunities to build power skills including communication and problem solving.
️ Participate in capstone presentation at conclusion of program, showcasing your learning and contributions to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
Physical Demands - Must be able to:
️ Sit for prolonged periods of time and walk and stand for brief periods of time
️ Repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard
️ Lift and move up to 15 pounds at a time
