At Honeywell Aerospace Advanced Connected Sustainability Technologies (ACST), our outstanding team of scientists, engineers, and professionals develop groundbreaking technology by applying their expertise in complex hardware and software control systems, atomic physics, ultra-high vacuum environments, cryogenics, cyber security, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a collection of Projects led by Project Engineers and Principal Investigators
Motivating and supporting the team to drive positive culture and leading by example
Collaborating with other disciplines to resolve complex and unforeseen problems
Accountable for contract deliverables and performance
Adapting working methods when unforeseen problems arise, or milestones change
Reporting project progress to the Senior Leadership
Interfacing with Shared Services on relevant project issues
Mitigating risks identified by Projects
Leading or supporting proposal management and Project baseline control
Working with the Program Management Office, Project Team Leads and Leadership Team to support program and team objectives
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 6+ years’ experience in project management
WE VALUE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or relevant discipline
Expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and financial systems (Sales Force, SAP, etc.).
Proactive and resourceful self-starter, with ability to multi-task
Master’s degree and Project Management certification (PMP) preferred
Ability to work in ambiguous situations
Exceeding customer expectations
