Trinity Health Relief Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Grand Haven, Michigan

Description:

Status: Casual, as needed

What you will need:

  • Minimum: Possess or be eligible for a valid current Nuclear Medicine license/certificate. This will be either an RT(N) registration through the ARRT or CNMT registration through the NMTCB.

  • Must be able to perform electrocardiographs (EKGS)

  • Must have BLS certification.

  • Must be proficient in venipuncture for injection of radiopharmaceuticals.

What you will do:

  • Performs all required quality control procedures on gamma cameras, dose calibrator and uptake probe/well counter and logs results.

  • Administers the prescribed radiopharmaceutical and performs all data collection and associated computer interactions as required.

  • Processes image data and evaluates the images for technical quality.

  • Observes patient during the procedure and reports any unusual occurrences to appropriate personnel.
