Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking four temporary assemblers to join our team. This role involves working in a clean room environment, performing light assembly tasks such as gluing tubes or connectors, and assembling small components. The work is not difficult but requires extreme attention to detail. You will be trained on all tasks for approximately a month. The job involves working with cardiac surgery devices that are 10-12 inches long, and the components vary from individual parts to packages with up to 25 components.
Responsibilities
Perform hand assembly of small components at a table top.
Glue together assembled parts, ensuring accuracy and precision.
Work with detailed surgical components for cardiac surgery devices.
Seal and label packages containing assembled devices.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the clean room.
Follow detailed instructions and procedures to ensure high-quality assembly.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of light assembly experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a clean room environment
Proficiency in using hand tools
Basic blueprint reading skills
Experience with mechanical assembly
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in medical device assembly
Familiarity with production processes
General labor experience

Work Environment
You will work in a clean room environment, fully gowned, with the ability to wear headphones. The facility is quiet, clean, and air-conditioned. The work schedule is from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 6:30 am to 10:30 am on Friday, including two breaks and a lunch. The role involves repetitive tasks but provides comprehensive training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
