Temporary full-time position from 03/22/2025 to 12/01/2025. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Set up, repair, maintain, service, troubleshoot, and operate irrigation equipment for watering crops; Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers to dig ditches; Lift and carry pipe; Maintain irrigation systems by calibrating and hooking up power units; Verify appropriate water flow onto crop acres; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structure; Must speak and understand English. In view of the statutorily established basic function of the Employment Service (ES) as a no-fee labor exchange that is as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) nor the State Workforce Agencies (SWA) are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers. Nor does any job order accepted or recruited upon by the ES constitute a contractual job offer to which the ETA or a SWA is in any way a party.
