Job Title: Roofer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems. You will work on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and replace roofing systems such as shingles, tiles, and metal roofs.
Inspect roofs to determine the best repair or replacement procedures.
Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas.
Ensure roofs are watertight and structurally sound.
Remove debris from roofs to place materials.
Install insulation and vapor barriers.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
Communicate with clients to understand their roofing needs and provide solutions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Roofer or similar role.
Knowledge of various roofing systems and materials.
Ability to use roofing tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in roofing techniques.
Experience with both residential and commercial roofing projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
