SYNNEX Corporation Supervisor, Quality Assurance/Quality Control in Groveport, Ohio
About the Role: Develops, implements and maintains the activities of quality control systems. Oversees development and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Develops budget and monitors expenditures. Makes recommendations for corrective action necessary to ensure conformity with quality specifications. Ensures finished products conform to government and company standards and satisfy good manufacturing practices regulations. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. What You'll Do: Supervise a team of Quality Operations Specialist in multiple locations in the Ohio region. Assist employees in resolving work related problems or concerns Maintain accurate documentation of all activities Coordinate with Sr. Quality Manager to make department decisions regarding quality Train team as required by leading and developing processes, and systems that ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Work closely with all departments to maintain flow of communication, promoting cooperation between departments Assist with ISO internal audits as needed Provide problem solving and critical thinking skills Conduct employee performance appraisals and touchpoint activities and develop performance improvement plans as needed Assist with customer complaints as needed Communicate issues and concerns to the Sr. Quality Manager Support and drive continuous improvement projects Willingness to learn new things and adapt to change Assist with Internal and external audits as needed Travel is required- Travel to multiple sites within the Ohio region. What We're Looking For: Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor Preferred associate's degree in related field with minimum 3 years related work experience Strong computer skills including word and excel Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work with all levels of staff and management Excellent decision-making skills Ability to follow instructions and willingness to assume responsibility Must be able to multi-task, be flexible, and be a team player Self-motivated to function independently within area of responsibility Have knowledge of the ISO standards: ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 Working Conditions: On Site position- This is not a remote position.
