Mississippi State Job Bank Packer of Household Goods in Gulfport, Mississippi
This Position is for a Packer (Military Goods) located in Gulfport, MS. Hours will vary and during the peak season for military moving which is May to mid-August. Overtime work will be available often.
Summary: Will pack Military used household goods and prepare for moving. Some travel may be required between 50 to 100 miles. Most of work is in 3 local counties unless otherwise adjusted. Training will be provided and after training candidates will be required to be able to pack a minimum number of boxes per day in order to remain employed.
Requirements and Qualifications: Valid driver's license or State ID Card & Social Security Card/Birth Certificate; Travel will be done with packing crew using a Company vehicle; All applicants must pass a background check and will be randomly drug tested due to the strict policies and ability to access military bases and associated housing facilities.
