POSITION: Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg Hospital

DUTIES: * Make observational rounds as directed by the professional nurse * Observe and assist patients under the direction of the professional nurse * Assist in maintaining a safe, orderly, clean and comfortable environment for patients, staff and visitors * Assist with selected procedures, simple treatments, and activities of daily living under the direction of the professional nurse.
REQUIREMENTS: * Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent * Maintenance of CPR/BLS.
PREFERRED SKILLS: * Successful completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course * Completion of a healthcare vocational program * Experience in a hospital or a similar facility
WAGE: * Uncertified - $18.00 - $21.60/hour DOE (shift and weekend incentive pay) * Certified - $18.25 - $21.90/hour DOE (shift and weekend incentive pay)
