Job Description: Purchasing Manager\ Reports To:Director of Materials & Engineering\ \ Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for supervising and managing all daily purchasing functions, including buyers, estimators, and support.
   1. Maintaining schedules for buyer workloads.
   2. Manage and lead members of the Purchasing team.
   3. Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
   4. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
   5. Review and negotiate with suppliers regarding long-term quotes and contracts.
   6. Coordinate with other department managers to ensure company goals related to timely deliveries are achieved.
   7. Review personnel performance to ensure execution in accordance with current processes.
2. Responsible for reporting to top management items associated with material movement receipts, inbound raw materials, inventory levels, scrap, and timing.
3. Review and evaluate existing Purchasing and Estimating processes for effectiveness and applicability.
