Hosmer Nursery & Tree Farm LLC Nursery Workers in Henrietta, New York
6 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 4/1/2025- 12/1/2025.
Duties: General Maintenance & upkeep of nursery growing areas; operate field nursery & farm equipment & hand tools as needed to mow, weed, plant, transplant, spray, cultivate, fertilize, water/irrigate, prune field nursery trees, shrubs, evergreens & annuals; stake & prepare plants for shipment; tag, load, transport, unload plants & supplies on trailers & vehicles. Workers who have a valid driver's license may drive vehicles.
Work outside in inclement weather including wet, cold and rainy conditions. Walk, bend, stoop and reach repetitively. Lift, carry and load up to 50 lbs.
Requirements:
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- Lifting requirement of 50 lbs.
- Extensive pushing/ pulling, sitting/ walking.
- Repetitive movements and frequent stooping.
