TEKsystems Data Center Technician (Graveyard) in Hermiston, Oregon
A large Data Center in Hermiston, OR is hiring a Data Center Technician (Graveyard) to join the team for a great opportunity!
Job Duties:
You are a primary resolver for your support team skilled at troubleshooting and resolving most complex hardware infrastructure issues.
You create and maintain documentation on technologies you support and are able to effectively pass down knowledge of these technologies to junior staff.
You have basic to intermediate system administration skills and where applicable are able to take on remote system administration tasks working in a virtual team.
You work autonomously to resolve most support issues. You are able to execute small projects on your own and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects.
You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. You know how to innovate and make decisions on his/her own but also know how to take direction when it is given paying attention to all details involved.
Qualifications:
Prefer previous cable tech, data center, or similar work experience
Strong break-fix knowledge of server-grade hardware
Demonstrated experience in rapid response scenarios
Proficiency with Slack communication tools
Ability to work night shift hours
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs and or work in elevated locations
Shifts:
Operation Hours: 5:00pm - 6:00am (Loom Hours)
Position 1: Sunday - Wednesday
Position 2: Wednesday - Saturday

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
