Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Hollywood, Florida
Description We are currently offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Hollywood, Florida. As an integral part of our team, you'll be playing a key role in handling customer applications, ensuring customer records are up-to-date, and addressing customer inquiries. You'll also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate action when necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications to ensure accuracy
• Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Handle customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action as necessary
• Prepare invoices to meet weekly deadlines
• Utilize accounting software systems, such as NetSuite, to manage and organize data
• Perform accounting functions, including account coding, accrual accounting, and auditing
• Coordinate with other team members, including the AR and accounting manager, to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure checks are prepared and ready for issuance every Thursday
• Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools such as ADP - Financial Services and Concur to streamline processes
• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential.
• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Concur software is preferred.
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions effectively.
• Proven experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.
• Acquaintance with Accrual Accounting is appreciated.
• Auditing skills are a plus.
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is preferred.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software is a must.
