Abbott Supply Chain Planner in Hong Kong, China
Job Summary
Engage in procure to pay (PTP) activities for supply chain department, such as suppliers sourcing, handling purchase requisition, justification, invoice validation and others purchasing related documentation should be completed and retained in accordance with global records and information policy
Work with manager and ANSC China procurement team for margin & profitability projects, identify opportunities for improvement and track the saving goals
Coordinate with stakeholders and logistics team for fulfilling sales order needs from different business channel customers in a timely and accurate manner, and comply with corporate policy, local operating procedures, quality and laws requirements
Ensure the SOPs and WKIs are up-to-date and identify areas for improvements
Deputy for handling inbound shipments arrangement, goods receipt in system and exceptional handling (E.g. damages or claim) when operation planner is absent
Support the manager to drive continuous improvements initiatives and supply chain projects across different areas, such as local warehouse & transportation, freight management, supply planning and system enhancement process
Apply data analysis tool/techniques to prepare operations KPI, reports and presentation for the managers and management on regular basis
Works in collaboration to resolve different logistics and IT issues for achieving on time in full shipment KPI
Perform import & export declaration in Tradelink and handle infant powdered formular export license according to Hong Kong customs requirements
Job Responsibilities
Procure to pay management
Engage in procure to pay (PTP) activities for supply chain department, such as suppliers sourcing, handling purchase requisition, justification, invoice validation and others purchasing related documentation should be retained in accordance with global records and information policy
Work with ANSC China procurement team for margin & profitability projects, identify opportunities for improvement and track the saving target
Develop and implement tools to monitor the supplier actual spending against budgetary and financial approved amounts in justification/purchase commitment form
Review and develop different supplier performance KPIs and metrics by benchmarking market trends/intelligence
Maintain supply chain team vendor’s contract master data and ensure all related documentation, such as justification, contract approval form (CAF) and purchase commitment form (PCF) and other related documentation should be retained in accordance with global records and information policy
Responsible in set-up or correctness of SAP PTP master data
Orders Management
Work with supply chain distribution supervisor & suppliers to handle export orders, include prepare full set of documentation for CBEC business on Macau export, re‑export shipments and banking documentation including collections/LC preparation (when require)
Monitor and control the compliance on all documentation for export with Abbott policies and laws & regulations of HK, US and related countries.
Ensure the processes compliant with approved SOP and regulatory requirements
Prepare regular reports for inventory & outbound order tracking
Perform import & export declaration in Tradelink
Handle infant powdered formular export license according to Hong Kong customs requirements
Supply chain management
Analyze data from inventory, shipping and distribution processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
Maintain packaging specification portfolio of nutritional product
Support Senior Supply Chain Manager to conduct periodical operation/KPIs reviews with warehouse, freight and distribution’s services provider
Ensure SOPs are up-to-date and identify areas for improvement
Support in different audits by understanding the policy & procedures, preparing documents and ensure the operations flows comply to Abbott quality & regulatory requirements.
Perform inventory checking, such as cycle counts and annual wall to wall count
Participate in warehouse Gemba walk & work with quality team and warehouse for identifying areas for improvement
Importation operation planning
Plan and execute all inbound shipment activities, from shipment departure at plant until the shipments receipt at HK 3PL warehouse.
Ensure all importation activities which comply with global customs and trade policy.
Responsible for internal complaints registration and shipment claim follow-up when inbound shipment damages occur. Support through investigations with surveyors and logistics services providers
Monitor capability and capacity of service providers; provide timely and accurate information to facilitate superiors on decision-making/action plan.
Communicate with shipping company to ensure adequate and smooth cargo clearance from ports and deliveries to Abbott 3PL warehouses
Complete all documentations to support inbound flow of product.
Ensure proper record and maintenance at both internal and external parties to comply with Abbott documentation policies.
Manage 3rd party service providers to achieve service performance for areas under responsibility
Initiate and follow-up internal destruction processes for aging stocks.
Participate in regular performance review meeting with 3rd party logistics service provider (LSP) and annual stock take when require.
Support in different kinds of audits of logistics service provider (LSP) to drive for operation improvements.
Others
Responsible in maintenance of SAP master database, such as ALOG/USPC PIR set-up, customer batch determination and contract pricing set-up in SAP S4 HANA
Prepare regular reports and analysis
Handle ad-hoc assignment and project when necessary
Requirements: Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experiences in supply chain or logistics management
Experience in handling SAP/S4 HANA is highly desirable
Strong numerical sense and logical thinking
Advanced skills of using MS Office, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word & SAP
Proficiency in written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin Excellent teamwork, collaboration, analytical, high self-motivation and problem-solving skills
