Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking for a Journeyman Electrical Technician for one of our clients in the NW area.. As a licensed

electrician, you will need to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures on a periodic basis

Job Description:

• Complete Preventive and scheduled maintenance to avoid damages

• Inspect regularly electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes

• Attend all breakdowns of machinery in a timely manner

• Have all damaged or scheduled parts fixed or ready to be used whenever required

• Conduct maintenance on all proper electrical circuits

• Wire all cablings properly to run the full plant and its equipment safely and efficiently

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes

• Maintain the daily log book

• Maintain detailed records for all repairs and breakdowns for proper documentation and follow-up

• Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions

• Use personal protective equipment and safety gear

• when performing assigned tasks

• Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents

• Maintain assigned tools, equipment and machinery in good working order

• Report unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations

Required Qualifications:

Electrical License Required

3 to 5 years experience in an industrial environment with electrical expertise

Must be able to be on call

Must pass a background check and drug test

Must have

NCCER credentials and pass a written assessment test.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Knowledge of plant and production equipment

• Knowledge of control panel assembly and trouble-shooting

• Knowledge of motor maintenance (dismantles, identify failure modes, etc...)

• Knowledge of all electrical components and their electro-valves, motors, sensors, etc...)

Ability to maintain all electrical components (CNC, PLC, electro-valves, sensors, switches, etc...)

Knowledge of wiring and cabling procedures following the international and local

• standards and codifications

• Knowledge of crane repairs

• Ability to read electrical drawings

• Ability to use all electrical tools (handling sets, multi-meters, solders, crimping tools, electrical drills and light jack-hammers, etc...)

COMPENSATION: $28 to $35 Depending on experience

This is a Dayshift position and also will be ON CALL.
