Pennsylvania State Job Bank Energy Auditor Estimator in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania

Full time postion with excellent benefit package: Requires basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel & Word, and some prior knowledge or experience in a construction related field. The Energy Auditor Estimator schedules and conducts energy audits and housing estimates for all energy and housing programs and provides all necessary information and work orders to subcontractors. Inspects building shells and mechanical systems, including testing heating systems. Conducts pre and post inspections including using diagnostic equipment such as a blower door and furnace analyzer. Conducts health and safety tests. Must attend and successfully complete all mandatory training and certifications required by the Department of Community and Economic Development and utility programs. Conducts energy education during pre-inspections. Must be able to communicate effectively both written and orally. Be able to handle difficult situations tactfully. Ability to maintain client confidentiality. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs, set up and dismantle equipment, and climb a ladder. Must have a valid PA drivers license with an insurable driving record. High school diploma or GED. Mon-Fri. Drug test and background check required before hire. Hourly wage will increase as employee gains experience/obtains certifications.
