Immediately Hiring! Distribution Coordinator Huron, Ohio Starting pay: $48,000 annually Shift: 2nd 3pm-11pm Key Responsibilities: Primary duty is to manage the work flow in the Shipping office to coordinate activities on 2nd shift Operate more transactions within SAP (ZLOUB, ZWAM, Planning) Process shipping paperwork to ship product (BOL's, Packing slips) Bring issues, complications to supervisor's attention Ability to make decisions based on multiple inputs; prioritize correctly Capable of shipment planning within SAP Manages LTL Drivers Communicate effectively in email, phone and in person Understands the functions on the RF Gun, and what can be done on the Computer vs RF Responsible for understanding daily shift cutover tasks, and effectively judges priorities, and ensures good communication to others Needs to understand inventory movement in SAP, and have the desire to drive to the root cause of issues, and fix them Ability to multi task, handling high volume transactions without errors Ability to work overtime as needed, including coming in early to cover for earlier shift vacations Manage complex situations, and focus on getting assignments completed on time. Coordination of inbound/outbound schedule, communicating any issues to immediate supervisor for attention Makes effective decisions that allows the DC Operations to operate safe, and secure Responsible to assist in the nightly shut down of the DC Operations Other duties as required Qualifications: High school graduate Three to five years of distribution experience Prior SAP experience is preferred Ability to professionally & effectively communicate with subordinates, peers, & support management and ability to manage discreet and/or confidential information. Basic computer skills with experience on how to maneuver files, systems, programs. Individual must be able to independently prioritize duties and carry through with all steps necessary to complete each function. Must be able to clearly identify and communicate issues that need to be addressed and to take the necessary steps to avoid future errors. Exemplary work & attendance performance. Strong attention to detail. Ability to take responsibility for one's actions. Ability to build strong work relationships.
