Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle and Azure Cloud Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps with a focus on maintaining and optimizing cloud environments. The role involves reviewing network and infrastructure architectures, ensuring adherence to security protocols, managing workloads, and tracking system performance to guarantee reliability and efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze network and infrastructure architecture for application use cases.

• Ensure adherence to security protocols and track system performance for reliability and efficiency.

• Allocate and manage workloads and resources effectively.

• Configure, deploy, and automate disaster recovery scenarios in the Oracle PaaS/IaaS layers.

• Manage backup and disaster recovery strategies using Object Storage, Oracle Managed Backups, and Autonomous Data Guard.

• Manage network and user security groups, IAM, Federated IDCS, and compartments.

• Monitor services for access, availability, performance, and usage.

• Configure, manage, audit, and alert on the security of the OCI environment using observability tools.

• Implement best practices for the PaaS/IaaS services lifecycle.

• Possess good knowledge of networking concepts including OSI model, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Manage vulnerability (patching) of marketplace images, golden images, and deployments.

• Deploy and manage VMs and PaaS services in OCI.

• Manage IDCS/SSO/SAML implementation, policies, and governance processes.

• Identify, analyze, and maintain secure configurations across hybrid cloud technologies.

• Identify, recommend, design, and maintain technology solutions to support the enterprise's security posture and needs.

• Understand and troubleshoot virtual cloud networks (VCNs), subnet lists, route tables, network address assignments, firewalls, and web application firewalls (WAFs).

• Intercept and handle Oracle security notifications and assess their impact on OCI environments.

• Highly motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to work through and solve complex problems.

Required Skills:

• Azure DevOps (ADO) and Terraform scripting skills.

• Experience in administering PaaS services like OIC, OAC, OGG, ATP, ADW, and Fusion ERP services.

• Proficient in provisioning Oracle OAC, ATP & ADW Autonomous Data Guard.

• Experience in usage monitoring of OCI services, auto-scaling, and message packs consumption of Universal Credits.

• Knowledge of configuring Oracle Cloud services backups and object storage.

• Ability to provision network security groups, ACLs, bastion hosts, and public load balancer provisioning.

• Experience with scripting languages such as YAML, Bash, or others.

• Automation of infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code) and applications/services using CI/CD is a plus.

• Certified OCI Architect Associate or Professional is mandatory.

• Certified Oracle Exadata Database Machine and Cloud Services is mandatory.

• Certified OCI Cloud Operations Associate is a plus.

• Azure Cloud certifications are a plus.

• Linux certification is a plus.

Experience:

• Preferred overall 8+ years of experience in public cloud platforms, with a minimum of 6+ years in Oracle Cloud Technology as Cloud Infrastructure Operations/Admin.

• Azure Public Cloud experience is a plus.

• Preferably 6+ years of experience working with Linux Operating System.

Shift timing (if any): 24X7 (Rotational basis)

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
